This Saturday is July 4th we will be celebrating our 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
John 8:36 says, "If the Son, therefore, makes you fre, you shall be free indeed." "Free indeed" here Jesus speaks of the certainty and the reality of our freedom in Him.
know this: In Christ Jesus, you have been set free and Jesus gained absolute victory and total freedom for you when he was raised from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:20-22)
The moment you received Jesus as Lord and savior this victory and freedom became yours. It is the knowledge of the truth that enables you to walk and live in freedom (Ephesians 1:16-20)
Jesus came to give you freedom from every sin, bondage, addiction, habit or any such thing, so that you can have victory in your life (Luke 4:18-19)
So, declare your independence from the devil. It is time to proclaim your emancipation . You have a "bill of rights" (the Word of God) given to you by your heavenly Father through HisSon and the Holy Spirit. He has set you "free indeed." This means entirely, totally, completely, with any question, doubt or objection. It has already been done.
Let us always remember the cost of our freedom as we look back at our spiritual freedom, let us remember what Jesus Christ did for us.
