How to Enter The Presence of God
God gave Israel the Pattern of the Tabernacle to approach God. When the High Priest of the Tabernacle approached God, he had to stop at each station of the Tabernacle. The Holy Spirit has given us the same pattern as we enter into the presence of God.
The gate represents Jesus, the only wat to the Father. The Bronze altar stands for the blood sacrifice of Jesus, or the cross. The bronze laver represents the Word of God. The Holy place represents the soul of man. The table of showbread is the soul of man; it deals with the will. The golden candlestick is the mind. The golden alter of incense – you submit your emotions more through the veil; into the Hoy of Holies, we come to the Ark of the Covenant where sin is covered. The mercy seat is where the presence of God is manifest.
The gate symbolizes that we must accept Jesus, the way, the truth, and the life – the only way to the Father (John 14:6). The bronze altar, overcoming guilt – these lead to the four aspects of forgiveness.
The Bronze Laver: Removing the dust of life – washing the Word. Washing by the water of the Word. Ephesian 5:25-27. Washed by the blood of the Word I John 1:7. The four R’s of the Word:
The Holy Place – Thanksgiving and Praise. Ps 100:4.
The Table of Showbread. The power of the well and the strength of the human is the will. The golden candlestick is the battle of the mind. The mind resists the power of
the Holy Spirit. The altar of incenses – here is the intercession. Worship in the Holy of Holies the mercy seat. Divine Presence.
